Informative

Found it to be a good break down of the problems that come from mental health. They key part I found useful was around the took kit section.

Amazing easy to use and very informative

Informative

Informative and relevant to my role.

Not Inclusive

Apart from closed captions, there is nothing inclusive about this training. The graphics used within the training are of dogs – having PTSD from being bitten by one and then this coming up in a mental health training video was so much fun. I work in higher education, change the language to be more general or do separate training. Why I had to click to progress each video is beyond me, this did not help my engagement at all, it was just annoying. What would have helped my engagement: – You taking into account some of the target audience are neurodivergent; – There being the ability to select the speed of the video; – The training taking into consideration some of us already have mental health issues;

Very good and informative

The course has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to support both their own and others' mental well-being effectively.

The course allows participants to understand: what mental health is and why it is important; the importance of reducing stigma and misconceptions about mental health, and encouraging open conversations and creating supportive environment; how to identify early warning signs of mental health issues in oneself or others; active listening skills and the importance of empathy in these conversations; when and how to seek professional help; the internal and external support systems and resources that are available; the strategies for maintaining one’s own mental well-being and resilience; and techniques such as mindfulness, stress management, and setting healthy boundaries.
