A concise and helpful training activity

This clear and concise on line training outlines the basics for safer recruitment. It is easy to follow and with 'tests' along the way, ensures a focused approach to learning about this very important aspect of school safeguarding

Clear comprehensive guidance

Easy to use training with useful and practical guidance. The regular questions to test for understanding were good but there could have been more regular checks for key points throughout the training.

Inaccurate information

The regulations around what used to be NQTs now ECTs is out of date. The term is ECTs and the probationary period is 2 academic years, not one.

Well presented

The course was very informative and I was able to go through the training in my own time so that it fitted in with my working day.

Clear and detailed

The course was clear and succinct and allowed me to understand the Safer Recruitment process (ongoing)

Great training, thank you

Having previously completed safer recruitment training with a different training centre, I have found this training very informative and it has broadened my previous knowledge of safer recruitment

Informative, educational safety

Very well explained and executed.

It's very informative

Short, to the point and without feeling.

The course enabled me to obtain a certificate but came nowhere my previous course which was a full day, face to face course based on the Lucy Faithful Foundation materials. This course lacked background information such as types of child abuse and case studies. Together with group activities and discussions an opportunity for greater insight into the personalities and activities of child abusers was lost. I therefore consider it to be more of a tick boxing exercise.

Well presented

Good course
