Very important

I think it is very important for everyone. We can learn more about security and risk.

Did not take as long as anticipated.

Videos were short and too the point – very helpful.

Clear and easy to follow

This breaks down the subject into bite sized chunks. The presentation (ie one individual presenting to camera) is a bit monotonous, but I appreciated the fact that it was to the point with facts well summarised throughout.

Excellent Course – For Companies!

This course is very good for Companies! The Rotary is a collection of CLUBS, they do not have 5 employees therefore the majority of the Health and Safety Act 1974 does NOT apply. This course needs tailoring to CLUBS who do NOT have employees or premises or machinery. TAILORED Training Courses Required – Get my point? Good

I have successfully completed 14 Courses and I have found them all to be interesting and very useful.

Excellent learning environment

Excellent learning environment (interface), short easy to follow videos with supporting text. Good use of pop-quizzes to check understanding during the course and appropriate end of course assessment.

A fine course, but dragged out.

The fact that I wasn't able to move through the course at my own pace was frustrating and negatively impacted my end result as I definitely wasn't paying as close attention over the length of time that the course took as I would have been for a shorter time working at my own pace.

Overly long.

Far too long.

ok

It is not entirely clear to what extend the Risk Assessment examples discussed in the course are relevant for academic staff. I understand that we have to do risk assessments for student projects, or our own research activities. However, many of the examples provided in the course (and how the course is built) are – as I understand it – related to Risk Assessments that are the responsibility of Estates and the University as a whole.
