Excellent online course
I enjoyed the format, i.e. short video presentations, rather than lots of words to read. This made it informative, engaging and interesting
Informative and clear
For a Manager this course acts as a reminder of what to look out for and identify in themselves, their colleagues, their teams and things to consider within the working environment itself.
A very information and useful course
A very information and useful course with great content which I can use when talking to my team but also apply to myself as well.
Simply and eloquently communicated.
Useful tool that goes with the Stress Awareness training
Very surface level, nothing insightful.
The information seemed superficial and resulted into the 'think happy thoughts, eat well and exercise' archaic philosophy in dealing with metal health issues. As someone who has suffered with various mental health issues this is very condescending, its close to advising someone to 'cheer up as its all in your head'. When somebody is having a mental health episode finding a will or motivation to do any of these things can seem impossible and the despair this can generate only compounds negative thoughts and emotions. We know what we should do, but the ability to will that knowing into doing is the real hurdle to tackle and this package did nothing to address this.
Well presented and easy to follow.
I have learnt a lot through this course. Although I had knowledge around mental health, it’s the strategies used that can help myself, or staff and colleagues when feelings of stress is apparent. The additional resources were a help also. Along with contact for outside agencies if anyone requires them.
Very helpful, great course
