Insufficient infor on lifting accessorie
Slide 24 Technically Incorrect in its implication that Lifting Accessories e.g Non Integrated cages for FLT trucks can be used for man lifiting any Equipmet used to lift person must be specifically designed for such a purpose (Non Intergrated in this instance means Not part of, NOT Not Designed for) Halving the safe working load does not make something safe for man lifting as was correctly stated there must be communications and as the diagram indicated there must also be protection from moving parts. The SWL for an Lifting Apparatus may be 1000Kg but that does not mean it can be used to lift 500kg of people. There was no explanation of maximum working load (MWL) (the maximum load rating in the above example would be in the region of 1250 kg unless the load is people the SWL IS 50% of the MWL In Short if its not designed and rated for lifting people it should not Under Any Circumstances be used for Lifting People Slide 26 alsoo technically incorrect an Automatic Safe Load Indicator is not just a good idea IT IS A Legal REQUIREMENT (as It its functionality having one that does not work is the same as not having one)

Easy listening and very good visuals.
This online course was very informative and highlighted the importance of not exceeding load capacity! Also reminded us of the importance of checking lifting equipment every time prior to using it. Above all our legal responsibilities to ensure we have equipment checks in place at our place of work.
Very informative
Helpful training guide, providing facts I wouldn’t have otherwise known and will be useful in some tasks that we carry out
