Concisely covered a complex subject.
I feel the training conveyed the issues surrounding Safeguarding, identifying areas where students could be vulnerable or exploited, examples include abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, neglect), radicalisation, county lines and FGM. I learnt that it also includes Peer-on-Peer abuse and not just restricted to abuse by adults. The signs of a student being vulnerable to abuse and exploitation were clearly discussed. At all stages it explained the procedures for reporting the above and the importance of referring concerns to the DSL.

Give lots of information,
A good course, give lots of information, easy to follow. All is set out well and easy to access, and enjoyable to do, not only giving reading information, but breaking it down into different category’s

I felt that being able to read the text at my own pace rather than having someone talking was the best way to take the information in.. Also not having a time limit helped.
