There's an error in the tailgating section – course says to do nothing. The Highway Code says Slow Down for Tailgaters When someone is too close behind, it’s essential to slow down to maintain a safe distance. According to the Highway Code, you should: Never get so close to the vehicle in front that you cannot stop safely. Leave enough space to be able to maneuver if the vehicle in front breaks down or an emergency vehicle needs to get past. Slowing Down To create a safe gap, slow down gradually and smoothly. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, as this can increase the risk of a collision.
