Great course. Please note that the meter in the training is a YSI DO200 meter. This is designed to measure %saturation in water and not in air. Therefore a measurement of 20% oxygen would read 100% saturation on this meter so it is not suitable for use (we are the manufacturer of this meter)
I will never remember all of that as I very rarely need to consider this and so it is not a process I would regularly consider. I just needed a run through of understanding what a confined space is and if it is one - Stay Out!! and get someone in who knows all about it.
not always relevant to my personal workload and I find it hard to understand who retains the knowledge from these presentations. most people do these tests to satisfy their employers training requirements and are a quick, cheap way to say, that staff have been trained in a particular topic.
I found this a very useful course, covering the essentials in a straight forward and easy to understand way. The presenter (lady) was easy to understand, the language was excellent and presentation very professional. It was also useful being able to return and do the final Test numerous times to brush up on those bits which you may have forgotten. I look forward to completing other similarly formatted courses by iHasco.
