Informative and helpful. Did assume…
Informative and helpful. The training did assume/ refer to there being only two genders and there was much more scope for discussing diversity and unconscious bias on a much deeper level. But, overall, the training was a great base for introducing the subject, discussing it in relatable terms and creating room for thought.
room for more engagement
Covered the basics well, though I think there were some points that could be more engaging. The test at the end, for example, felt like it was testing some more arbitrary questions and retention of phrases rather than how to put this learning into practice, like the question on how much information the brain processes etc. – does knowing that statistic help mitigate bias? The language around gender could use a little tweak to feel more inclusive for trans and non-binary people – "one gender over *another*" rather than "one gender over *the* other." Though the activity listening to three voices was really effective and useful in my opinion, a great practical application and very instant visual challenge to preconceived ideas – even for people well versed in ED&I practices.
Useful Information but see below
This training is well presented and contains useful information. It does not however not mention one thing that mitigates against changes in workplace practice which is 'Time'. In the modern workplace, is there always time to undertake challenging? Is this always appreciated by those who not as aware as the person who has done the course? Do managers and leaders in the UK really want to have their own implicit 'Blind Spots' (Johari Window) pointed out to them. So whilst the course is good and useful it has, in my view, limitations for real change.
Informative
Interesting and informative. Makes you aware of how your mind actually works and how to perhaps change your perception of others and your behaviour towards them
Being aware
Some good points for everyone to think about

I thought I was doing really well until the video clip showing a team meeting popped up and the man who had answered the phone started speaking Russian. I am a Russian speaking Ukrainian currently experiencing trauma because of the Russian invasion of my homeland. I appreciate the irony of this being the unconscious bias training and here it is, I have literally experienced it during the training! I checked my bias and proceeded with the training and completed it with a 20/20 score. If this training took place prior to the Russian invasion the thought would have never crossed my mind. Just wanted to share, this triggered me.
