Simple and informative

I thought this was a great intorduction to Unconscious Bias for all levels. It was informative, easy to navigate and not too long. Thank you!

Fabulous

Grand course, would highly recommend to others, as there are many people around with negative unconcious biases that they're not aware of – ACT and common biases are highly resourceful tools eg. Depending on capacity to expand, perhaps some additional exercises on diverse scenarios and situations could be offered to help people challenge their own biases a bit more and gain an even better insight into them. Perhaps going into a bit more detail and context how, to more strongly support the case with specific examples and comparisons, diversity can strenghten the workplace in contrast to places where there's minimal diversity.

Too much repetition.

Too long and too much repetition.

Well delivered and easy to follow

Simple and effective but eye-opening too.

Patronising guff

"Diversity" is presented as a benefit in itself which is a huge overgeneralisation. This can become a problem if for example it were to influence a hiring decision away from the right candidate because they did not fit the diversity criteria. Imagine how insulting it would be to be told you were hired because you were perhaps a black woman rather than because of your ability to do the job well. Finally, this training is simply NOT based on good science so I'd say it ranks along with homeopathic remedies – aside from the evidence which shows that it may even exacerbate the issue. Unconscious bias is real but imagining it can be addressed in this manner is at best naive.

Good course but some questions were diff

Good introduction

Good introduction to start the learner thinking about UB and showing the different types

Common sense test

What is the purpose of this test? If someone is naturally biased, and makes decisions based only on their own negative past experiences, I seriously doubt that this would change their views.

Excellent

This course was explained well and really made you think about your own thoughts and bias behaviour
