worthwhile and thought provoking

You hear of unconscious bias quite often in the media. I have always thought it to be a principle that covered all unfairly as I didn't think I thought I treated anyone unfairly or jump to conclusions. However the course cleverly uses examples where by default the unconscious bias is visible. In a similar way in which we identify a car driver by the type of car they drive, it does make you realise that we can treat people in a similar way. It does make you stop and think, even about the reasons we may be being held back by possibly the unconscious bias present in others. Understanding this can help how you can also portray yourself to others.

This is an informative course of what we ALL do and quite possibly do not realise. It will certainly make me think more about my decisions both professionally and personally.

A really good course!

This really made me think and, hopefully will assist me in challenging my own unconscious bias. I think that this subject is extremely important. I thought that the course was delivered well in a clear way. I am grateful that it was on the list of courses.

Thought-provoking and effective training

The additional downloads are really nice and the development of the correct terminology helps with the identification and eradication of problems. The digital resource was slick and easy to use. In places the course felt a little repetitious and may have benefitted from a more academic approach.
