This is a good training for maintaining professional relationship in an office environment. The most important word I learned is R E S P E C T. We have to recognize and respect diversity. Through this, we are able to share ideas that will contribute to a more productive result from each and every employee in a company.
I didn't realise how much previous experiences affected my thought process. This was really enlightening and something I will try hard not to do in the future.
Useful and informative.

The course provided a good overview of the topic and gave some real-life examples to help put theory into context.
This is a useful course which encourages you to think about why you feel a certain way about certain people or situations. It is, of course, based on your previous experience and so recognising this and taking time to think about why you feel that way goes some way to understanding your unconscious bias, and making sure it does not take over.
I like the part where they showed you what the person actually looked like after just hearing their voice.
I did appreciate having to stop and think about what bias really is and how it pertains to my own life. I certainly recognize its importance and encourage as much diversity, inclusive, challenging our own unconscious biases in the workplace as possible! Thank you!

Gentle explanation of how previous experiences affect our decisions about working with or listening to other people. Suggestions for how to improve self-awareness and reduce the adverse influences of unconscious biases on the current situation. How to approach new people and new situations more fairly as unique experiences.
