thought provocking

In a very practically way, it made me reflect on my own biases. The strategies are so helpful and easy to practice, particularly ACT. I will be working a lot more on being conscious of my unconscious thoughts and how they influence my behavior and how I interact with other people. I also reflected on things/people that I tend to avoid or procrastinate on - have started asking why? I am looking forward to the discovery!!!

it's a very useful course

the course enables one to consider how to retrain their perspective in view of their natural unconscious bias

Great short training

It is a very good short 30 min training with transcription. also if you are reading the transcription there is a short window with video of the training in one corner which is fantastic. The only negative bit is that I couldn't give the test directly which meant I had to go through each slide which is not an issue (considering it as a refresher session). Getting the pdf certificate to print and download is excellent as evidence of completion.

Well presented training with useful information and interesting focus areas.

Interesting and clearly delivered.

I always find this type of training the most useful and insightful. Delivery of this one was very clear and more interactive than many I’ve done.

Good, clear and easy to understand

The first messages are good and worth making. The biggest problem I had was the lack of understanding of nuance. I am not young and I have a lifetime of experience of trying to decode the person I am meeting. (That's a bit crudely put but hopefully understandable). The assumption that I had never thought to accept and be interested in someone with tattoos (a good example) was frustrating and at one level insulting. I am not going to get a tattoo but on the other hand, I'm not rejecting as 'not me' someone who is smothered with them.

Poor quality of training

I felt this training was unnecessary. I have worked in the education sector my entire life and am acutely aware of my own bias, and do not allow any of it to impact on my decisions or impressions of people. I take everyone at face value, and help them as equally as I would any other person. I feel that this training was in bad taste and not in the true spirit of Catholicism. I would much appreciate never having to repeat this training ever again.
