I didn't realise we had so many unconscious thoughts. Hearing the voices of the actors then showing the videos was interesting. As I had a different opinion of the judge at the start to the end. I am quite shocked by my own unconscious bias.

having witnessed this type of bias in the past its an excellent coarse to help people think before they speak.

Great short training session, challenging my thoughts and actions.

This course helps to look at our thinking processes when dealing with people. Many people are different to us and so we make decisions without being aware of them. The course helps us to bring our unconciousness to the forefront of our encounters with people, whether we know them or not.

I enjoyed this more than the INSET group session.

The course identified how we need to challenge our own assumptions by highlighting some of the ways in which we have an unconscious bias towards others. It encourages us to develop a greater awareness of these biases and therefore to be less judgemental and intentionally be more open to those we wouldn't naturally be drawn towards based on past experience.

Always good to keep this training at the forefront of all we do.
