An Exercise is Stating the Obvious

I found this training, on 'Unconscious Bias' to be fairly superficial and light-weight. It was very much a quick overview that didn't teach me anything new, and I felt that I could easily have passed the test at the end with 100% without even sitting through the training.

Very good course.

Made aware of some of my unconscious everyday bias towards others without knowing I am doing it. I shall from now on ACT.

Informative + User Friendly

Insightful Training Course that has fundamentally changed my perception on Bias as a whole. Great Stuff!

Utterly useless and borderline offensive

Having an actor in a video tell me how to think is the most 1984-esque activity I have ever been subjected to.Furthermore, the content of the course was just silly. We are constantly presented with characters and scenarios with no information available to us other than what is shown, and then castigated for holding such a narrow opinion of these people and scenarios. No, I did not know that the actor had a tattoo. No, I did not know that that one guy in a meeting spoke multiple languages. How could I possibly have known these things?! The fact that I did not know them until they are explicitly revealed does not make me a closet racist, which seems to be the suggestion.

The training was really helpful in understanding unconscious bias in a non judgemental way.
