I found this boring as watching video clips of a person didn't engage me and this type of learning doesn't appeal to how I learn. I prefer in house training where you can communicate with the teacher.
Unnecessary waste of time, this type of training does nothing to help me in my job role.
This is an extremely important subject for all sorts of reasons and especially in our line of work where biases raise their ugly heads not only in the workplace but with our customers. Bias leads to discrimination and we should try to avoid this at all costs but there is a real danger in assuming that everyone's reactions to the examples raised in the course will be identical. This is in itself stereotyping. There is also a suggestion that the key to avoiding discrimination is acceptance. I believe that in fact the real key to avoiding discrimination is embracing differences and diversity and using them as learning experiences and this was touched upon in the course which is good. This is s complicated subject area and a 30 minute course will have difficulty covering everything so it is perhaps important not to expect too much but for this course to have real value I believe it requires further modules that approach different aspects in more depth.
A really useful course, well structured and very accessible. I particularly liked the structure of short videos, transcripts ( if desired), options to repeat segments and quiz questions to support with focus and confirm level of engagement and understanding.
