Ok, not sure why I'm doing this advance

I understand why we have to do GDPR, but this was a bit advance for my Job in IT, as I do not have much to withwith, transfering data, or processing data for staff.

Clear and Inciteful

The GDPR course has provided me with in-depth information, some that I did not know, and some that refreshed my memory. The course itself is very easy to follow, it is clear and straightforward which in turn makes it easier to process the information shared and the tests allow for the information to be retained.

Excellent and empowering

It really dealt with a complex topic very logically and encouragingly. The three example questions at the end of the main training were very helpful to prepare for the test. The test questions were constructed and pitched at exactly the right level for the key things that someone needs to take away, when they do not work on GDPR all the time. The extra material in the links after each slide is also really helpful and really great for a deeper dive. However, I would suggest at the beginning of the training that the presenter reminds the participant that the ICO links were correct at the time of course publication and may have been refreshed by the ICO and can be accessed directly via their own website.

A very complex subject

This subject covers a huge amount of ground and is very complicated. A little more interaction may have helped with information retention.

Detailed overview

This is a very brief overview on the current UK GDPR guidelines. It doesn't include how you do anything, it covers the principles. It is a complicated area and as an overview was easy to understand and clear. Good examples at the end on situations before the questions. Good starting point. I'm unclear how to implement a tracking system for our employees though, no suggestions there, that would be good for next steps or ideas on how to implement what you've learnt.

Really comprehensive overview of GDPR

Good session (69 minutes), which was well structured and incredibly detailed. Had to go over certain aspects again to ensure I had captured everything. The questions at the end demonstrated the complexity of the subject as they highlighted the challenge between a person's rights and the wider issue of practicability in enforcing those rights
