60 minutes is really too long for an online training course on this subject. This subject should be broken down into sub sections.
A well presented course that reminded and focused on the importance of safely handing, storing and sharing personnel information.
I found the training a very useful refresher on the origins of GDPR, its core principles and data subjects' rights. I was impressed that the course covered some of the nuances of the regulations (for instance, circumstances when certain rights might not be absolute) without being overwhelming. It was also useful to go over the relationship between UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
The information provided is clear and gives a good overview of GDPR, with links and additional information for anyone wanting a deeper dive into the subject. I struggle to take in information via video, so was very pleased to see the addition of a transcript.
Pitched at a good level, covered key information concisely.
it was quite boring and i struggled to remain interested for the most part
I did not like the subject matter I found the topic really boring it was hard to stay focussed.
I struggle with auditory learning and focus, so having a person talking stood aginst a plain background was difficult for me to take information in, I either didn't fully take in what he was saying, or I got distracted by the lack of external stimulus (which I understand is a niche problem). This meant that I had to rewind the video several times to actually hear what was being said. I prefer to write notes from visuals (which the additional information was good for). I would have found it easier if the main points which occassionally were put on screen were there for longer so I could correlate them to what was being spoken about.Other than that I thought the course was broken down quite well, into nice small chunks and I liked the additional information and links.
It gave information that was just enough and relevant to the GDPR principals and the Individual rights. I enjoyed going through the course.
