The training material was engaging, informative, and has the potential for clarifying the issues, but it failed to deal adequately with the confusion about the term "Stress". "Stress" is now commonly used to means both the internal fatigue that a person feels after prolonged unresolved external pressures AND the resulting strain that is caused by prolonged (internal) stress. separate the ideas of internal stimulus - stress - and internal response - strain. The balloon example was good, but suggests that stress is either pressure or strain.
This course sets out the causes of stress together with coping strategies in a clear and comprehensive manner. It will help our employees to better understand their responses to demands, changes and worries, enabling them to take the appropriate action when pressure begins to build.
Very well presented, good use of videos and animations however the navigation may need looking at as you can progess through the course without looking at all the content, I didn't aim to skip a section but I click the wrong button and went to a new section, thankfully I managed to get back. It was also a little long, I got a little board near the end but overall this is one of the better courses I have taken.
nothing else to add
A stress free CBT course for a change, well done
not a good way to convay training in this subject
Very good, simple to follow and covered most of the main issues as far as i could tell.
Clear and useful to increse my awareness
Very informative and a good balance between user input and explanations.
In my experience this type of training is alawys put in place to negate any responsibility of the employer who generally wants more than their pound of flesh. Only in recent years have I established that I'm subjectable to stress due to the nature of work I chose to undertake!
