Very Informative course.

I thought I had a good idea of the tools I could use to manage stress however I found this course really helpful in adding to my knowledge and stress tool kit.

5/5
Comprehensive & useful

This is a good course with practical ideas and a high level overview of the contributory factors that relate to Stress.

5/5
Thoughtful, informative, constructive

Thoughtful, informative, and constructive guidance about how to recognize the effects of stress, identify causes and find ways of managing your situation, enabling you to deal with challenges and pressures which would otherwise lead to feelings of gloom and despondency.

5/5
A worthwhile simple look at stress

This training is definitely worth a look as it gives a clear presentation of stress - whether you suffer or not, it is a useful exercise to be aware! The focus is on the work environment and related extra reading references are also very useful. Thought provoking - I would recommend everyone should take time out to view and absorb this useful information especially at this time.

Necessary

I must say I didn't like this, though it complies with government requirements. I think stress is the wrong target; you're at work to get a job done and that involves pressure and deadlines. Real stress comes from being made redundant, having to find a new job and for managers it's dealing with declining corporate income. I would say the real issue is training someone sufficiently so that they can cope as well as possible with the job they are being asked to do.
