This was a course that has given me a great overview on the crucial elements of the safe recruitment process and how important it is to ensure policies/procedures are updated regularly and taken very seriously.
No summary provided
This was a very good summary of safer recruitment and would recommend it to anyone involved in the recruitment process.
Logically structured without complicated jargon. Liked the intermittent knowledge checks.
I found the way the course was presented excellent. It was clear and easy to follow with enough reminders along the way. I feel happy that I have taken what is needed from doing this course, I just wish other courses were as good!
The course wasn't for me as the video clips kept on freezing but I liked the summary as they were clear to read and understand. I am happy also that there is no time limit for doing the tests as I am not very good at doing tests.
It was a very useful course
This was clear with good diagrams and descriptions, logically presented and easy to follow. 2 bad test questions: One talking of a guarantee to make children safe...there are NO GUARANTEES and the other talked of all staff needing DBS but part time, temp, not dealing with children, always supervised would not need a DBS in practice or was this just badly worded.
I did face to face training a year ago so this was a useful chance to refresh my memory and reflect on course content from then and now and how this applies to what we do in practice.
Excellent way of learning and retention by testing.
