Good comprehensive review with common sense approach and a 'checklist'

Excellent course.

It was eye opening at many fronts - the different kinds of abuse our society has created which a child anywhere and everywhere is potentially exposed to. I really appreciate how the course was structured, especially the Recognise portion. What can be strengthened or added as a separate section, is different reasons why it would be difficult to Recognise or Respond or Record or Report including cultural socio-political and other factors, and how to navigate those at best.Thank You 😊

This course really highlights what is going on in some children's lifes and the problems they face.

The course covered all the main areas of Safeguarding children, including legislation, and responsibilities, recognising, responding, recording and reporting. There was lots of signposting to additional sources of information.

A vital course for us to do regardless of whether we work with children or not as it has relevancy if any of us has any contact with children & also it can translate over to adults so it's good to be able to notice red flags and not to dismiss it in our own mind.

I’ve learned lots of new ways to spot the signs of abuse.
