Great training if you do not know anything about child abuse. If it is just a refresher it would be good to be able to go straight to the test to save time. No need to relearn something if you already know it!

Initially I had problems with the session as the screen kept reverting back to START and i was unable to complete the test questions at the end. Fortunately I was able to chat on line with an adviser who informed me that I had to use Google chrome, which I was not aware of. When using Google chrome the package was very easy to use and the subtitles were a great help.

There was one very long section on recognising what Abuse was? It was hard to sustain attention especially if you are in a busy environment with people coming and going. Thought it was too long a programme albeit very informative.

It was very useful and informative on procedures which could be carried out to protect the child and the learning & development of the child. Also the course has allowed me to be prepared if there is any signs of abuse to the child and how to respond to this type of situation which as result could improve the situation. The has shown that it is everybody's responsibility to make sure the welfare of the child has been resolved. Safeguarding children involves support all areas of welfare, learning and development of the child which would allow the process to become successful.

The course is comprehensive, but perhaps a bit long-it certainly took longer than the 58 minutes predicted. It is easy to use and the summary pages at the end of sections are especially useful. My main complaint, and the reason for the low star rating is that the system would not generate a certificate at the end of the test. This is an important issue since we need some sort of record of completion and evidence of having undertaken both course and test for the our records.
