Can I refer back to the course if I ever needed to check on the information given ? If I attended a physical course there might be a handout/ or I might have taken notes.
For someone new to safeguarding, this might be a lot of information to take in.6 points is too many for one slide, I think; several had 7 or more. I appreciate that there is a lot of information, and one slide is less daunting than two, but I'm not sure how many of 6, never mind 7 or 8 one might take in at once.
my only complaint is the time it takes although im sure this is nessesary .
Have done this Safeguarding Children Training several times in various forms over the years I have worked in schools. I think this form works very well as it can be done at one's own pace and it is easy to click into it again when interrupted or there are time constraints. Impressive how easy that is to do without having to start again from the beginning as progress is saved as you go. It is always good to have a timely reminder of what is current and also serves as a confirmation of what I think I know but its nice to know and have confirmation that I actually do know. Also, very well presented. I like the fact there is both sound and text for when the sound is not a good idea. As a Mentor counselling vulnerable pupils I would have been upset if I had got any wrong. So was nervous. Well done to me and well done to you for a well presented, informative training package..
easy to understand, varied images and methods of delivery, checked understanding at the end
This training course had the following benefits - easy to pause and take notes, ability to return to clarify certain aspects, very systematically presented in terms which are totally unambiguous. Why 4 stars and not 5. The idea of a test at the end is excellent especially for teachers new to the profession (and old ones like me too!); but if the test is to have any real validity there should be more questions which stretch the application of the training. I'm afraid these multiple choice questions were rather easy! Nevertheless the training as a whole was immeasurably better than older forms of training. Highly recommended!
