Very clear and concise, lots of information but understandable.
Just missing any reference to County lines - needs adding, at least with the link to the website, if not actually on the slides. https://www.nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk/what-we-do/crime-threats/drug-trafficking/county-lines
Surprised that county lines is not included in this - if not within course then needs to be as additional reading. this is the link for it. https://www.nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk/what-we-do/crime-threats/drug-trafficking/county-lines Could it be included with the policies to be read?
Not working directly with children but being in an educational environment and the fact we all have a duty of care it is important to understand the basics and common signs. This course provides this. Thanks
very stimulating and refreshing
This online training package is ideal for all staff who work in schools. It covers all aspects of child protection and safeguarding in a clear and informative way. It is useful for a refresher to ensure practices and procedures are followed by everyone working with children. I have given it 4 stars as I think face to face training is still extremely valuable because of the conversations and discussions that can be had.

Sometimes case studies are useful especially if staff are inexperienced with Safeguarding issues.
If a child told me about abuse toward them, I would listen and pay careful attention to what they said, and when they have gone, I would make good detail notes, so that I did not just have to depend on my memory to make the written report at a later date. I would talk to the DSO, but should want to be sure about what I had heard and how I understood it.
