Lots to take in, presented in a clear and concise way.
The presenter, video clips, role play and end test helped me understand far more about what is expected of me, the proceedures and the terminology.
As someone who has never worked with children before, so had no real knowledge of safeguarding, the course was easy to follow and understand. There were a few understanding checks on the way through as well as the test at the end. The recommended time was about right.
This was an interesting course of which some I knew a lot about but some areas had slightly altered. As there is so many issues around safeguarding it has been helpful to review many elements.
I like the short video clips approach and the facility to playback as often as required and the option to use subtitles. This means I can take the course at my own pace although it always takes longer than the time they suggest. The one presenter approach “in your face” is a little weary in this particular course. It would benefit from a better balance between presenter and voice over .
