Very informative training and enjoyed it
could not get video links answering questions got to number 22 then cut off ERROR Data base connection failed
The safeguarding training (level 2) covered responsibilities, recognising, responding, recording & reporting. I found most of the training quite informative, particularly where it covered forms of abuse such as breast ironing/ flattening. However, I felt it was contradictory with regards to “Responding to a child Directly” where it points out that subtle questions such as “What happens next? and “When did that happen?” was appropriate. Whereas in the Aberlour child protection and safeguarding policy, in the section: “3.1 Responding to a child who discloses abuse” it points out that a child should not be questioned: “Do not question the child – other than gently clarifying e.g. words you have not heard clearly”. Also, I felt the test was maybe too easy as it was not difficult to achieve 100%.

It was a lovely differentiated safeguarding course. Summarised and differentiated with videos, sounds and images linked to the most important key information re: the topic.
