Clear and with key information highlighted and explained. However, the section on FGM was not accurate and too sweeping in saying that this is a common practice across Arabic and African countries - it is not! In fact it is illegal in Saudi Arabia (which you coloured in with a whole host of neighbouring countries where it is also illegal). Such sweeping inaccuracies, ignorance and generalisations support racial stereotyping and at it's worst, promote racist attitudes. I expected better from you - especially when you consider this training is on safeguarding (and I presume is aimed at those working in an educational/social context.
I was able to build on prior knowledge of safeguarding and further develop new knowledge
Easy to understand and relevant to me. I felt that I could go at my own pace. The additional resources will prove very beneficial.
As DSL in my last job I used to train our staff and volunteers. This is good level 2 safeguarding training and covers everything needed. I would say that I accidentally skipped through a couple of videos. I did go back and watch them but this shouldn’t be an option. Someone could just skip them all.
