A comprehensive and detailed course which was very useful to my understanding on children and safeguarding.
I have gained awareness and full understanding of identifying current Legislation & guidelines for safeguarding children. Signs, indicators of abuse / neglect & how to respond to concerns & support practitioners in protection & welfare of children. Also, Prevent Duty / Terrorism & Extremism / 4 R's of Child Protection, how to respond / report / record cases of radicalisation. Compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015: what Slavery is, its various forms the Modern Slavery umbrella term covers.
