As the previous training very well structured, found this a little more complex emotional than the Adult Safeguarding obviously.
The videos provided a good visual aspect which made what was being said easier to understand, especially using actors as examples. Despite there being a lot of information, it was delivered clearly and in good detail.
the course gave all the information needed and provided confidence if action were needed. kept information overload and jargon to a minimum
This training covers all aspects of Safeguarding and is very informative for both primary and secondary school staff and volunteers. It is easy to navigate, with optional additional information available as you go along enabling you to receive more in-depth training in the areas you feel you need it most.
I have completed many safeguarding courses and this was definitely the clearest I have done. Simple to follow but with lots of detail. I like having the person explaining it all in such a calm clear way, with videos to illustrate without being distracting. Useful to have the expected timings included and that you can take a break and return to complete the course later.
Very understandable training that covered a lot of different types of abuse, all of which could be considered a safeguarding issue. It conveyed the importance of raising a concern and using your gut instinct.

I liked the format of the brief informative sessions with questions during the training and a quiz at the end.
Really enjoyed this course
The course was able to provide me with a better understanding of safeguarding children and how to recognise, respond, record and report and it was also in a simple format that was easy to go through.
