The training allowed me to access all the relevant information needed to make safeguarding reports. It also gave me confidence that I can successfully report concerns should I need to.
Suggestion for the future would be a section on safeguarding when only interaction is through meeting the child through zoom ie art therapy via an online kids support group, hosted by health care professionals.
Another excellent course. I had only one small query about the content and that was in relation to the wisdom of the male teacher sitting with a teenage girl to talk about possibilities of sexual grooming or abuse on their own. I might have enlisted the presence of a female colleague with the child's consent. I fear that for a male teacher to tackle such matters on their own could result in allegations against the male teacher.
Very good course with lots of information. It’s been designed in a very good way which enables you to understand the content easily. It is a bit long though.
