This course covers a lot of content that might have been studied on previous courses or in training leading up to an appreciation of Safeguarding. However, I found the course to be pretty comprehensive in that it went into details on subjects that might have been glossed over by other courses and left no doubt about the seriousness of matters being discussed. Full marks to those who prepared this course.

Course is a must for anyone who has an interest in safeguarding of children and young persons. Would have welcomed a slight shift to talk about voluntary work with children where often the DSL is geographically remote from activity.
