One things I did take issue with was the questions on reporting. The question asked wether to report to DSL first or write down the record of what the child said. I answered report to DSL first and was told it was incorrect However the transcript says,'You need to report the matter to your DSL. You then need to make a detailed and accurate written record about what has happened.'
This is the best safeguarding training I've ever done. It covered all the topics while keeping a positive and warm tone. It didn't trigger anything for me in terms of my own experiences, where as previous courses I have taken have done. Information is memorable, thanks to clear explanations and accompanying graphics and video. Loved the animations! Information is simple, clear, concise. Broke down a big scary topic into manageable chunks. Loved the LGBTQ+ inclusion in the content, normally that's missing! Thanks and well done to the creators of this training.
Great training and very useful
This course has taught me what to look out for and understand what I would think would be categorised as abuse and the importance of reporting it. Very in depth which will help me in my future employment.
Was well written and not too much to take in all at once.
Clear instructions Educational Interesting Good to know Pleased to do the training
Excellent course, very thorough
The content delivered was presented in short digestible and engaging sections. The acrostic of the 4Rs really helped to focus you on what you need to be aware of and the actions you may need to take, when and if appropriate.
