In my role I do not need this level of detail, just to report to DSL if I have any concerns at all. I do not need know about femal genital abuse or breast ironing as would never be in situation where I could identify this. So much detail, lose main points I need focus on as agree there are some.
A very clear and comprehensive walk through many aspects of safeguarding with a good focus on the central issue (protecting children from harm) and simple procedures.
Very good helping children in need of support
This course provided all the necessary information required. I now feel better informed to fulfill my responsibilities regarding safeguarding children.
It was good to know about the development of law in terms of the way children are protected. Plus, to be aware of the different types of the abuse, so they can easily be recognised,
