There was one question that when a child makes a disclosure to you what should you do first. I put down record ,as make notes while the child is telling you about the complaint. I know that the right answer is go to the DSL first but I thought I would need some notes taken when the child is disclosing to me what happened.

I found the new level 2 safeguarding training interesting, engaging and comprehensive. There was a great deal more information than the previous course that I took in 2019. I learned a lot and thought that the presenters where particularly good.

Found the course easy to follow, but I've been having safeguarding training and experience for over 30yrs, so everything was straightforward. Not sure any one new to the complexities of safeguarding would feel the same way. I think actual case histories would give greater understanding for someone new to this course.

I found it interesting and very good to learn about how safeguarding works

Having experienced a considerable amount of this training over the years, and delivered it, I didn’t think there was much I could learn! I was wrong. This course is extremely well presented with a lot of detail and information that is invaluable for all practitioners.
