I learnt so much from this course, it was informative and easy to understand.. There was information I was not aware of and it taught me who to speak to in situations when they arise.

The summary at the end of each slide was really helpful, as were the links. I've made a note for future use.

Intense but educational needs concentration

Good training for staff who have limited and/or little safeguarding understanding, it is discussed in simple terms and all staff should have a clear understanding of what to do.

Each section was straightforward to listen to and put in words that were easy to understand.

Gave a recap on what to do in certain situations so was useful as a reminder and reinforcement

I was able to refresh my knowledge in various areas of safeguarding.  This training improved my ability to recognise, respond to, and report abuse in my dealings with children and young people. I was able to obtain a thorough awareness of a variety of safeguarding topics as well as the appropriate people and organisations to contact if I have any safeguarding concerns.
