Absolutely important for all who work in an environment with children have a thorough knowledge of the different types of abuse that can happen.
The course covers all aspects of safeguarding , in a clear and concise fashion. It empowers you to feel able to report any concerns and go with your gut .
The content of the course is not at all relevant to our position! IF somebody worked ‘with’ children I could see the reasoning behind the course being mandatory but this content is in no way relevant to our position as customer host. Would like to see training which is specific to our job purpose such as consumer code.

HAVING NOT WORKED WITH CHILDREN THIS AGE BEFORE, IT WAS AN AMAZING EYE OPENER TO WHAT GOES ON BEHIND THE SCENES. THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ABUSE I READ ABOUT WAS SHOCKING. I NOW HAVE AN EXCELLENT VIEW OF WHAT SOME CHILDREN HAVE TO ENDURE.
Every conceivable subject area covered in this course.
A good refresher course.
I found this course beneficial as it refreshed my knowledge of Safeguarding. Its mostly common sense things but going over them just reminds you of the different procedures. At times I felt overloaded with information but the summaries were good.

Very informative but there is a lot of information to learn in one go maybe if the test was split up throughout the course it would make it easier to take it all in
