I personally like the course covers a wide range of issues we face in the working environment
.
But too long.
I like a lot of these trainings as they are easy to follow and keep you interested in the content, this was the case with this one. However, with the domestic abuse and emotional abuse sections, it is very suggestive that men are the perpetrators of domestic abuse cases by default. As someone who has worked alongside and supported domestic abuse survivors, there is very little support out there for males as it is not commonly spoken about enough. Just my opinion but felt I should do my bit to share.
The course draws attention to all of the important aspects of safeguarding and is very thorough. However, it becomes quite tedious with the number of slides and I think it would be good if it could be more interactive.

While some aspects are relevant it was too indepth for someone who does a volunteer job
.
This course is not relevant to my volunteer role in an Industrial Heritage Visitor Attraction where I anticipate scant contact with children.
