It was a good training, not overly time consuming yet enough depth and covered everything I needed to know. Great job!
Informative, easy to navigate
It was indeed very exciting course.
The course was both informative and relevant. It was clearly structured and easily accessible.
It gives a broad views of the types of abuse and the signs that it is happening.
I would have liked additional questions throughout the course to check understanding but comprehensive.
Gives me a better understanding of potential risk to look for, and gives me more confidence that I'm not just interfering.
I personally feel extremely concerned about the ask on VA volunteers (even Lead Volunteers) to complete either of the two iHASCO safeguarding courses, but more especially both. I feel the children's safeguarding course is completely over the top and irrelevant to our volunteer roles as its level of detail and depth is suited to people working in roles such as social care, youth workers or teachers, not adult support volunteers. The ask on our volunteers to complete these two modules is hugely increasing our organisational risk of losing valuable volunteers from roles where this "level" of training is unnecessary.
Very good
Succinct, to the point and very helpful for the non-childcare professional .
