I found some of it a bit harrowing - I didn’t know about the faith abuse! It was a good course though and I learnt a lot.

There should have been a playback speed setting, to make it a little bit slower or faster. There is no rewind as well, it is an important feature because you simple want to hear what the speaker says again in an quick and easy manner.

Although the information provided in this particular course is very important, it is extremely time consuming and takes all of your attention, which is not soo good, especially when you have other responsibilities..

To be brutally honest, this section of the training felt rather over-the-top for the job of school caretaker, as I expect my interaction with children to be quite limited. All I needed to know is "any concerns about any child, report it to the designated safeguarding lead". Going into details about county lines and breast ironing seemed a little excessive, and served more to confuse than enlighten. If I was going to be working in a classroom, interacting with children, then more of this might be relevant. I'm not.

The course keeps your interest with relevant visuals relevant to what you are learning. It also has the odd question along the way to keep you on your toes before the final examination at the end. The presenters did a good job of presenting the material and engaging the listener.

Highlight the steps in a simple manner regarding safeguarding concerns.

The lecture room environment created by the video that follows each segment made all the difference in my learning experience of this course, if I could not recall what I read then what I heard comes to mind.
