So much to take in - but easy to follow and understand. Da iawn.
The training was very good.
Some of the questions could have potentially been two of the option answers, so even though I passed I was more annoyed than anything 😊
Just a note: when completing information about myself and the services I deliver: CYNNAL, the counselling service for clergy, ministers of religion, Christian workers, and their families; and ENFYS, the counselling service for doctors & health workers WASN'T included in the dropdown list of services. So, I had to click on Living Room Cardiff, a service I once founded but no longer work for.The course was excellent by the way.
This was an informative introduction to safeguarding children and our role within that. I did find it puzzling that there was no mention of the importance of referrals to children’s services within the local authority where there were safeguarding concerns, in particular given that some children would already be known to social services through being on child in need or child protection plans or even subject to care proceedings. Multi- agency approaches are essential but relevant liaison with child protection agencies should surely be made where relevant
Very professional and in-depth course covering many relevant topics.. A very worthwhile course for those working with children….
