A good informative training course, which is really clear to understand.

It covers the key points, particularly the importance of reporting whenever you have concerns about a child's wellbeing or safety. However, while it said that people should report regardless of whether they are able to define/categorise the type of abuse, the training somewhat contradicted this by going into great lengths about all the different types of abuse and which one fits in which category. Also, the SDQ was defined as a means to determine whether a child is suffering with a 'diagnosable mental health problem'. The SDQ is a screening questionnaire and not definitive proof of whether a child or young person has a mental health condition. Furthermore, in line with the principles of early help it is important to shift away from a focus on whether a child or young person meets the thresholds of the diagnostic criteria.
It was very detailed and informative training, which was great, but it required a lot of clicking! It would have been much quicker to complete if the videos led on to the next in each section.
Very Educative.
Another good course, but it was quite a lot to take in for me. In hindsight , perhaps I should have done the module in two halves
