A lot of questions can be answered one way or another to be right or wrong -very poor set up and think you should sort this asap ! This test does not TEST the learning of this or any module you have on your website guys !!!

The course effectively described the range of things that we need to be aware of which could signal a Child Protection concern. It included the obvious things like visible bruising/injury or neglect but also other areas which may also be emotional or physical abuse which may not occur to people. Also the reporting and recording requirements. Important also to make it clear not to promise to a child that information will be kept secret - which to committed child care practitioners initially may seem a betrayal of the child but the reporting needs to be understood as necessary to keep the child safe. Through my role in HR, I have become aware of quite a few aspects covered in the course but not all. My role probably means I am exposed to discussions around these issues which others in functional departments may not be.

Training slide 30 states in the script that you need to speak to the DSL first and then write a record of what was said. However Q.18 states that the answer in the test is that you write up what is said first! So I got this wrong but unfairly as I followed what the training script on slide 30 said. Unfair as would have got 100% if this was corrected.
Safeguarding training is good for everyone good to know about children safety their health and children feelings good for knowledge about their safety we learned from this information and many more
The course was well paced, engaging and maintained interest. It was good to have a Safeguarding course that did not come across as patronising.
