I was apprehensive the first time I had to do this not knowing what a test could be like. It explained in easy language and targeted real issues in various situations.
I thought the course material and presentation was excellent. I feel though, given that I am required to complete it for my role as a volunteer reader, much of the detail was beyond my needs. I think it could be off- putting to relatives and grandparents of children at the school who may consider coming to help, (and I’m a granny! ) As a retired teacher, I do realise everyone one working with children needs to be aware of safeguarding, but I think Part 1 of the safeguarding course would have been enough. I hope you find this helpful.

This is a new subject for me, however it opened my eyes to this whole subject and provided a great awareness of the issues and how to observe and act.
Excellent training. Colourful and well presented in an efficient way. East to engage and learn from . Questions throughout ensure that trainee listens. Highly recommend.
