Informative and encourages discussion.

This training covers things that any parent does not want to consider happening to their child. There are topics which are difficult to comprehend being inflicted on vulnerable children and people. That is why it has festered or been ignored. Openly confronting these topics gives confidence to those people who are in a position to help and act positively. I have learnt from this course and appreciate the efforts of those who put it together.

Lots of valuable information

This course is a good refresher to remind anyone who is responsible for the wellbeing of a child or young person, of the warning signs and what to do if you suspect any form of abuse.

Well structured, appropriate pace.

Overall, a very good experience. I do have, however, a comment to make on one of the questions in the test. It reads... "A parent or carer fabricating or deliberately inducing illness in a child is a form of which type of abuse?"... Does it really matter? It is important to recognise it is a form of abuse, deciding which type of abuse might be important for an SGL but it is indifferent to me.
