I learned a lot about Safeguarding and have a much clearer understanding than I did previously. I feel like I know my responsibility in certain situations should they occur.
I enjoyed the course, it was easy to understand and suitable for my learning needs.
The course gives an extensive overview of both the process of how to act to safeguard children, and many of the ways in which children can suffer harm. It is most useful to practitioners working with children directly on a daily basis. I felt its use of language did not always recognise the distinct identity of young people, but this may be because the underpinning legal framework only recognises children and adults.
This course has really been an eye opener for me. It has answered all questions I have about child safeguarding issues by giving me training on how to recognise, respond, record and report them.
