The course reminded me of many important issues regarding the safeguarding of children and young people. It also dealt with some material that I may have known about but had not encountered in such detail in other safeguarding courses, for example FGM and the abuse that can come from faith-based groups.
I found this course to be really detailed and informative, and I came away having learnt a great deal about safeguarding children. I think that this course could be improved even further by adding a 'safeguarding vulnerable adults' section, as it is an equally important issue - particularly for those who will be working more with adults, rather than children.
