It was good to revisit this material one year on as my circumstances have changed. I am supporting my Father following two stays in hospital, his state of health is good though slightly fragile. I feel more sensitised to the issues involved and will try to maintain my awareness levels both at work and at home.
I was in pressed by course content and the whole deliver of it
A comprehensive training delivered in a great format
Very intense and structured
I felt this course was useful in providing guidance in dealing with Safeguarding, what signs to look out for, risks and how to record and report. Also helpful in applying a person centred approach to empower clients which may help reduce the risk of them being abused.
Safeguarding is a sensitive subject which is clearly presented and thoroughly covered in this updated course. Section 39/43 refers to the General Data Protection Regulation. This should be updated to the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) which controls how personal information is used. To indicate the UK’s status outside the European Union (EU), the DPA 2018 was amended on 01 January 2021 by regulations under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018. The DPA 2018 sits alongside and supplements the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Copious amounts of literature which will be useful and beneficial to anyone working with adults

Informative and up to date. Asked questions throughout as well as breaking up the video topics, stressed importance of understanding but not too stressful to watch.
I would like to say that safe guarding course was interesting, knowledge able, articulate and given me opportunities to take more courses. I have done already safeguard trainings with different employers but it was the best i have done before. Especially, for the carer point of view, it gave me various ways to understand adult needs and their rights. Videos were very informative and conductive to learning. Thank you.
