very easy to follow

This training was informative; easy to follow and user friendly. I found it less intimidating than some other Safeguarding material I have previously viewed. It more than covered the basics and allowed time/opportunity to watch slides again in order to recap or take notes for future reference. I would go as far as saying I quite enjoyed the process.

Really enjoyed doing this one very interesting

Really helpful overview of the basics

The course was a useful refresher of the basics in adult safeguarding and gave an excellent overview of the legislative framework as well as the practical steps a worker can take to report safeguarding concerns in the workplace.

Not exactly sure of relevant to my role.

I'm sure the course is of value to anyone working directly in or even tangentially to adult social care but I struggle to see the relevance to me. Thus, it's hard to say if it's fit for purpose or not as none of this stuff ever comes up in my position.

Clear and easy to follow information

An excellent online learning tool. Easy to follow with clear instructions and information. The Suffolk Libraries documents added at the end were very useful and a good reminder of our policies.

Informative

Well presented and concise I enjoyed this

Very good, mostly very comprehensive

Nice and clear. Could do with a couple of extra mentions: firstly, consider the crucial role of carers: one way of abusing a vulnerable adult is to block, intimidate or distract their carer, not always on purpose. Secondly, possible abuse symptoms not mentioned much are: a marked lack of trust or belief in 'authority' (or anyone else), e.g. in the case of sexually abused adults; and/or bursts of anger which may not have an obvious explanation.

4/5
Good overview of safeguarding.

I think it would be beneficial to mention Coercive behaviour, Forced marriages and Female Genital Mutilation under types of abuse. Many agencies deal with groups where these forms of abuse are prevalent.
