A generally good course, however not one really set to an FE College environment (other than in a perhaps extreme case). It is more towards the needs of actual "Care Workers". Those working in Care homes / institutes or providing actual "Care" in the community and so those seeking, the often referred to "Care Certificate". I can think of only one Department at Rhyl College that might meet that requirement and as far as I know, they have "Qualified" Care staff accompanying the students at all times.
A couple of questions in the test were not clear enough to feel you were giving the right answer
A difficult subject well explained and useful information for all of the care sector.

Very straightforward course and simple to follow. Ideas well laid out and presented and could take it at my own pace. Good introduction and not too demanding to get my head around some basics of an important subject. I liked the variety and the summaries.
The course was good in covering awareness and recognising abuse, responsible actions to take once abuse is identified from raising the alert to making a referral.
Although I’m a safeguarding officer and trainer for children I found this so informative and very well delivered! Will definitely do more now! Thank you
